Spud’s Story
In August 2025, Spud was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, a challenging form of cancer that required careful evaluation and treatment planning. His owner immediately sought the best care possible to give him the best chance at recovery.
With support from the Zeus and PJ Charitable Foundation, Spud was able to attend a consultation at the Aura Centre. Following this, funding was approved for the necessary CT scan and surgical procedure, which included resection with a skin graft. Given the complexity of the surgery, it took some time for the wound to heal fully, but Spud has now recovered and been discharged back into the loving care of his family and local veterinarian.
We are proud to have supported Spud through his treatment, helping him continue to be the loyal, loving companion his family adores.
