Tara Corbett

Nurse with a dog

Tara Corbett

Tara, is a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with over eight years of experience. Her journey has taken her through various aspects of veterinary medicine, including working in a referral hospital where she gained valuable exposure to oncology cases in pets. Tara’s transition from working in a referral hospital to general practice brought a new perspective on the challenges faced by pet owners dealing with a cancer diagnosis for their beloved dogs. In the referral setting, she witnessed the advanced care available to pets, but in general practice, she became acutely aware of the barriers many clients face when accessing these treatments often due to financial constraints.
These experiences deeply resonated with Tara, fueling her desire to make a difference, and she wanted to be part of an organization committed to bridging that gap. Tara has joined the foundation driven by her firsthand experience. Through her role in the foundation, she aims to create a meaningful impact, ensuring that more pets and their families can share cherished time together.

Kevin has had a deep love of animals since his early childhood and many of the journeys in his life have been accompanied with a trusted dog.  He is now dedicating his efforts to improving the quality of life for dogs facing cancer as a legacy to two of his beloved dogs, Zeus and PJ.  Both provided him with so much love and joy in his life that it seemed an appropriate tribute to help other dogs who are in need of cancer treatment such that they can continue to provide love and joy to their owners.

Kevin spent over 25 years working in London and New York City for various banks including Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital and currently is on the Board of Directors at Perenna Bank in the UK.  He earned an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Finance from the University of Vermont.
